ये सुर्ख शामें और यूरोप

About the book

Ye Surkh Shamein aur Europe is the Hindi edition of Pranay Patil’s debut novel, Burgundy Winters. Inspired by a true story, it is a tale of addiction, tragedy, love and self-forgiveness.

Jace Tanner is the hard-partying American rock star of Soft Division, a band whose fame is growing as fast as his drug habit. When a cocaine overdose kills someone close to him, he is left with grief, regret and self-loathing. Out of rehab, he lets his sister Pearl talk him into a tour of Europe, and in Paris he meets Yasmine Belmont, a tour guide with a troubled past of her own. He comes to see her as a close friend, but she holds back from trusting him completely.

Their love story grows through the streets of Paris, Belgium, Aachen, Cologne, Prague and other European cities. But before it can take hold, the two of them face things that seem impossible: meeting the parents, falling in love, and seeing ghosts.
