About the book
She was sixteen, the daughter of a cheerful family of five, with dreams of reaching great heights. Then one dark day something happened, and she was gone, leaving her family with questions nobody could answer: what happened to her, and why?
Saransh Verma’s short novel is the story after her departure: how a happy family falls apart, and the dreams each of them is left holding. Her mother dreams of seeing her again, her father of dropping her at school once more, her brother of one more game of chess, her sister of one more long chat.
